Services

We work with organisations, businesses and communities across agriculture and regional Australia to design and deliver work that’s shaped by people, place and purpose.

While our experience is grounded in agriculture, we've worked across a wide range of sectors and are comfortable tackling complex challenges in new contexts.

Every project is different. We take the time to understand your goals, your constraints and the environment you're working in, then tailor an approach to suit.

Below is an overview of the types of work we do and how we can help.

Strategy & planning

We help organisations make informed decisions about where to go next, whether that's developing a strategy, setting priorities or planning for change.

Our recent work includes:

  • Development of a strategic plan, growth plan and communications framework for a regional early years education provider supporting services across western Victoria.

  • Development of an extension and adoption planning process for the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), embedding consideration of on-farm impact and uptake into research investment decisions from the outset.

  • Facilitation of strategic planning and future direction for $uperBorder$, supporting the organisation to clarify priorities and strengthen its value to members.

  • Development of a strategic plan for a multi-generational family farming business to support long-term business sustainability.

Engagement & facilitation

We design and facilitate conversations that help people work through complex issues, build shared understanding and make decisions informed by real input.

Our recent work includes:

  • Facilitation of the FRRR Community Impact Program (Wimmera Southern Mallee) as part of the Australian Government's Future Drought Fund, supporting communities to develop locally led projects that build social resilience in times of drought.

  • Design and delivery of a deliberative democracy process for Hindmarsh Shire Council to inform the development of Council Plans and Action Plans.

  • Facilitation of the Rainbow 2050 Project, supporting the community to develop a long-term roadmap and identify priorities for their town.

Project design & management

We design and manage agricultural programs and projects from early scoping through to implementation and evaluation.

Our recent work includes:

  • Design, project management and delivery of GRDC National Grower Network projects (faba beans and lentils), including extension activities, communications products, farmer discussion groups, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

  • Development of extension and adoption plans for Cesar Australia's key grain pest projects, including green peach aphid and red-legged earth mite.

  • Design and facilitation of a federally funded project that brought together a group of leading Wimmera farmers to co-design a series of sessions to build their capability in on-farm emissions measurement and management.

Project & program reviews

We help organisations understand what's working, what's not and where to focus next.

Depending on the project, our reviews can include interviews, workshops, surveys, literature reviews, data analysis and synthesis reporting to provide practical, evidence-informed recommendations.

Programs reviewed include:

  • GRDC – Australian Fungicide Resistance Extension Network (AFREN)

  • GRDC – National Pulse Development and Extension Program

  • Wimmera CMA – Soil Moisture Probe Network

Training & coaching

We help individuals and teams build the skills and confidence to work effectively in rural and agricultural settings through practical training and coaching.

Our training and coaching include:

  • Landholder engagement training for organisations wanting to work more effectively with rural and agricultural communities

  • Facilitation training for professionals working in agricultural extension, community engagement and regional development

  • Grant writing and project development support, particularly for rural contexts and community organisations

  • Coaching to strengthen extension, engagement and facilitation skills

We also provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring, with a particular interest in supporting rural women and mothers balancing professional development with family life.
